Hi, I’m Aspen! I’m a beautiful poodle mix, about 1 year old, female, only 7 pounds and READY for my forever home!

I am so happy that you took a minute to read about me. I’m almost fully potty trained, doing well with leash training, and I am crate trained. My previous owners in Mexico tied me up in their front yard and I was in rough shape - skinny with matted fur. I’m so happy that the amazing people at The Cantu Foundation found me and saved me so I have a second chance at a happy puppy life!

I like other dogs most of the time as long as we have a proper introduction, I like cats and I haven’t met any human kids yet. I’m a little timid with new people but I open up quickly and I’m very loving. I kind of the best of both worlds - couch potato but I also love walks! I have a little separation anxiety when I’m left alone but I’m working on it and will get better at trusting that my humans will come back once I have some practice in a good family environment.

I’d do best in a home that is moderately active and with someone who works from home at least part time. I am a little too timid to be with kids that are too young, but older kids would be fine.
