Gender: Male Size: 40 lbs Breed: Pitbull/Weimaraner mix Good in a home with other: Dogs and kids Hey, I’m Caden! Aren’t I adorable?! I am a one year old, male, lab/Weimaraner mix and I weigh about 40 pounds right now but might get a little bit bigger. Lucky for you I am fully potty trained, and crate trained. I could use some help with my leash training but I will figure it out eventually and appreciate patient human teachers! I was found as a stray in a rural area in Mexico, malnourished with a wound in my mouth that was infested with maggots. The amazing people at The Cantu Foundation saved me and helped me feel better. It seems like I am also a distemper survivor because I have a little tick in my head and back left leg. This doesn’t slow me down one bit though! I am a spunky, smart boy full of energy and sass. I need a home with good boundaries and a strong leader. Dog siblings are fine as long as they are submissive because I am still just a young dog learning to be part of a pack. I love car rides, people, kisses, walks, doing tricks and learning! I am a great copilot and buddy! I have a little bit of separation anxiety when first left alone in my crate but I settle down after 10 or 15 minutes. I love other dogs with a proper introduction. I haven’t met any cats or kids but am sure I would do well with a human sibling. I hope to find an active family because I am energetic and smart and love doing fun things and learning new tricks! If I sound like an amazing dog (because I am) and a good fit for you, my adoption fee is $300 and this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the dog for you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html |
