Break me off a piece of that kit kat bar! My name is Choco and most hoomans say I’m short, dark, and handsome. Some say I’m as cool as a cucumber, others say I’m chill as a pill. I’m a mature male aging around 5-6 years old and a chihuahua mix. I was found on the side of the road after, I was hurt and couldn’t walk on my own. I am so lucky the Cantu Foundation found me and nursed me back to health! Now I walk at the beat of my own drum 🥁
There are so many reasons why my foster ‘rents think I have had a family before and why they love me so much! Are you ready for your mind to be blown? I am potty trained and leash trained, as well as basically crate trained! I just get sad in the beginning when you leave and then I’m all “I got this! I trust that my hoomans are coming back!” I also just love everyone! Dogs-check, cats-check, these weird short people that my foster pawents call kids-check, adult humans-check (but I especially love men?!?!). I can be a slightly timid meeting new peeps when I’m not at home, but boy will I warm up to you if you chill with me in my comfort zone. I’d love to go anywhere with you and guess what? I can because I am so smoll AND I am so well behaved. Because of my age, long hikes probably won't be great for me (wanna get a backpack?), but I do love to be outside and be chilling next to you. Can I tell you a secret? Shhhh don’t tell anyone… I LOVE BEING BY MY HUMANS!! If you’re home, can I sit next you or… even on your lap? Cool, cool, thanks.
If you’re looking for a chiller, a lover of sun bathing, will love you forever, doggo. I. Am. Your. Man. I will do great in any house, and that’s what makes me Choco!!! Will you be the “late” to my choco? Get it? If you put that together, it makes chocolate. My adoption fee is $200 and this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the dog for you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html
