Kimchi – The One-Eyed Wonder with a Heart of Gold! 💛🐾

Hi, I'm Kimchi! I’m a one-eyed sweetheart who’s been through a lot, but my spirit is still shining bright. I’m a 2.5 year old shepherd mix, about 30 pounds, and full of love, curiosity, and cuddles.

I came from the Rosarito pound, where I gave birth to three puppies. Sadly, only one of them survived, but they’ve found their forever home—and now it’s my turn. I lost my left eye due to a traumatic injury, but don’t worry—I don’t let it slow me down one bit. In fact, I think it gives me a bit of a pirate vibe. 🏴‍☠️ Arrr you ready to adopt me yet?

I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, and working hard on my leash skills (getting better every day!). I have moderate energy—just enough pep for fun walks and sniffing adventures, but I’m always happy to wind down with a good snuggle and a chew bone.

I’m very affectionate and cuddly once I feel safe, but I do need a little time to warm up to new places and people. Once I do, I’m all in—tail wags, head tilts, and all the kisses. I live with a 6-year-old human sibling right now and, while little hands were a bit intimidating at first, I’m learning they come with treats and belly rubs! I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’m always open to new friends.

I love other dogs and would do great with a friendly pup sibling who can show me the ropes. I’d thrive in a calm, supportive home where my family will help me continue to build confidence, explore the world at my pace, and shower me with love.
