I’m a one year old, female, lab/shepherd mix, about 50 pounds and I’m looking for my new home. I was found as a puppy with my mom and sister and rescued by The Cantu Foundation and I’m so thankful! I love all dogs and older kids. I haven’t met cats. I like older kids because I don’t like to be bombarded with people in my face too much because I can be a pretty nervous girl. I can be timid and shy so you need to go at my pace and let me warm up to you. Once we are acquainted I’m very obedient and a quick learner! I am medium energy. I love to run and play with my dog friends but I also appreciate hunkering down for a good nap. I can also keep myself busy with my toys. I’m very food motivated and am playful, adorable, and goofy. I’d do best in a quiet home without too much commotion or too many different people coming in and out of the house all the time. I like to be in calm spaces with structure and people that can take me out on walks, hikes, and play fetch! I am such a sweet dog and ready to find a wonderful home. Once I have blossomed in a home that is patient with me, I will paw at you for attention. I also do really well in my crate for short periods of time. I would well with a doggy sibling to help build my confidence and in return, I would make a great companion to another pup. Does your household sound like a good place for me to get comfortable and be your adventure partner? My adoption fee is $200 and that includes spaying/neutering and vetting care. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html I can’t wait to be best friends and be the best pup with you! |
