Gender: Male Size: 56lbs Breed: Doberman mix Good in a home with: Other dogs Hi everyone, I’m Kobe! Thanks for checking out my page. I’m in The Cantu Foundation sanctuary in Mexico right now but I am really hoping to find my new forever family soon. I’ve had a rough first couple years of life. I was rescued in Mexico from a terrible situation where I was kept outside at all times and just thrown kibble onto the ground and sometimes left alone for days at a time. I was outside in the rain so much. It became normal for me to have to find my kibble by sniffing around the ground in the puddles. The amazing Cantu Foundation people convinced my original owner to give me up and they’re giving me a second chance at a happy dog life! I’m about two years old, Doberman mix, 56 pounds, full of love! I’m up to date on all my vet stuff like neuter, shots, etc. I am already potty trained and leash trained and I am such a social dog that loves all other pups. I’m not a fan of cats or other small animals like birds so it will be best for my new home to only include dogs and humans. I am a really sweet, loving, playful boy. I’m very submissive and smart and eager to please and I need to be in a home with a strong leader of a human. If you have another dog that would be great or even if you don’t right now but have experience being the leader of a dog in the past that would be great. Another dog that is an alpha dog would be cool too, but really any dog will be my best buddy! I need my new home to be a stable and structured environment and I will need clear boundaries to be set and maintained especially for the first few months that I am home with you. Don’t worry though, my friends from the Foundation will provide you with all the education you need to make sure we are successful together. It would be awesome if you live in the San Diego area so I can still see my friends and they can help us get to know each other. I’d also really love a yard to play in. You’ll fall in love with me immediately, everyone does! If I sound like a good fit for you and your family I hope we can meet soon. And I hope you’ll reach out with any questions you have about me. I’m as lovable as I am handsome, which as you can see is off the charts! I could also be considered for a foster to adopt situation in the San Diego area as long as you are sure you have room in your home for me forever. Since I’ve had a lot of disruption in my short life I really need a reliable and stable home to go to, not bounce around between the sanctuary, foster home, and potential adopter homes. But if you are committed and just think we could benefit from a couple weeks before you fully commit to me that might be okay, I just need to ask my friends at The Cantu Foundation and make sure it’s a good fit for me! My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering and vetting care. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html I can’t wait to be best friends and be the best pup with you! |
