Specifically, the red poppy symbolizes remembrance, resilience, and hope.” Hi! My name is Poppy! I’m a 2-year-old female weighing in around 15 lbs. I’m fully vaccinated. I was surrendered by my previous owner to The Cantu Foundation. I previously lived with three other female dogs, and I had two puppies! Unfortunately, one of them passed away but my other puppy was adopted by a loving family. I’m hopeful to find my forever home too! I’m fully potty trained and crate trained. I also walk very well on a leash. I love all dogs and kids but I’m not sure if I’m cat friendly because I haven’t met one yet. My foster parents say I’m very sweet and curious. I like to sniff the other dogs at our adoption events! I do have a little bit of separation anxiety and will whimper when you leave, but my foster parents say I’m getting better with time and boundaries. I have two foster siblings that are bigger than me and I get along with them. I would do well in a home with someone that’s home all the time or with another dog to keep me company. My favorite thing to do is be with my human. My adoption fee is $400, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like a dog for you?
