Awooooooooooooo! That was a howl. And I’m Pugsley! I’m a 40lb Mexican Shepherd mix sitting just under one years old. Am I neutered and fully vaccinated? Yes, yes I am. I’m also almost fully potty trained and although I could use some help on the leash training, I’m sure in no time, I’ll be KILLING it! One thing I did master completely is sleeping in my crate. I can do that all night into the day if you let me. With proper introduction, I’m great with other doggos. I’m not too sure about cats, but I’m good at everything, why wouldn’t I be good at cats? I love me some mini hoomans. They give me lots of attentions and sneak me treats when the hoomans aren’t looking.

I’m a shy, playful and loving boy. My history is kinda dark, and not the way I like. My siblings and I were abandoned at the sanctuary in Mexico. We’re Parvo survivors! Now we’re all living good lives in the states with our foster pawrents. I love my pack! My favorite things to do is play with my siblings, snuggle, and go on walks! I stay well mannered during feedings which takes a lot of self control because that stuff is delicious, have you tried some? I can be a little shy and skittish when we first meet, but I will warm up if you show me kindness and treats! I love a good bully stick. I love cuddling with doggos and hoomans alike.

I'm an extra special pup because I have a congenital heart issue, my condition doesn't affect any of my daily activities. I love life and all the people I meet! I hope my new family won't see this condition as a negative trait and that they can still take me in and love me unconditionally. I actually think this condition makes me one of a kind!

My pawfect furever home would be with someone who can be active with me but patient. I’m the kind of pup who needs structure to stay confident, and I thrive in a pack of hoomans and dogs! I do well with mini hoomans of allsizes, too. You got room for one more with you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html. My adoption fee is $200, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip
