Howdy! Name’s Sunny, and I’m a 1-year-old, female, Lab-mix, tipping the scales at 53 lbs. You could say I have a ‘sunny disposition’ for a doggo who was plucked from the mean streets of Mexico. You see, my previous owner was homeless, which didn’t always make for cushy living conditions. Thanks to the lovely folks at TCF, I’m living the sweet life in Sunny San Diego where I’ve been shacking up with kiddos, kitties, and fellow doggos at my foster home. I’m full potty trained, but my leash and crate training could use some work, but don’t worry – I’m a quick study.
A few things to note – I’m an active pupper who thrives on family time. What can I say, I love being a part of a pack. I’m looking for hoomans who will play with me and teach me a thing or two! I’m super smart and love to learn, so I’ll take any stimulation I can get! Also, I greet everyone with ‘hugs’, so if you’re some weirdo who doesn’t like those, I am not your girl. Same can be said about lap sits. What are boundaries when it comes to snuggling? If I see a lap, you can bet your bottom dollar I’m going to sit in it.
My foster mama says I’m happy, curious, and active. That said, my ideal home would be with a family who is active and has kids for me to play with. Throw in a couple of kitty or doggo siblings, and I’d be in hog heaven. My adoption fee is $500, which covers my first year of vaccinations, spay, and microchip. Do I sound like the girl for you?
