Woof! My name is Teddy. I’m a 3 or 4 year old mixed pup. My origins are unknown - TCF found me roaming the streets of Rosarito, Mexico - but since being rescued we discovered a few things! For example: I’m 35-lbs, mostly potty trained and I walk great on a leash. I’m neutered, but not fully vaccinated yet. Nothing a quick trip to the vet can’t fix! I love other doggos, and though I haven’t met a cat, I’m a pretty chill bear and can see myself getting along well with them. I also get along well with mini hoomans, and people in general. I’m a relaxed, happy, and sweet pup. I do have some anxiety with new things, like getting in a car, or the crate, but that’s what roaming the street does to you. I’m learning how to be a doggo now, and I could use some patience as I get used to being left alone for a few hours or overnight. I promise to try to remember you’re not abandoning me, and that we will be reunited shortly. My favorite things to do are walking and napping. If I get enough walks in, I’ll spend most of my time sleeping. Can’t be anxious when you’re too tired to stay awake!
My ideal furever home would be somewhere I get lots of company. I would do well with a family, I could learn to protect everyone in my pack, maybe even have a doggo sibling to show me the ropes. I would also do well with a single owner, but in that case I would prefer someone who’s working from home so we can hang out in the same room all day. If you can’t wait to take this Teddy-bear home, please fill out the form on the website here http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html. My adoption fee is $400 and that includes vetting care.
