Gender: Male Size: 40 lbs Breed: Basset Hound Good in a home with: Dogs and children Hey, I’m Torito, a 3 or 4 year old male Bassett Hound weighing about 40 pounds. I am looking for my forever home and am so happy that you’ve checked out my profile! Lucky for my new family, I am fully potty trained and walk really well on a leash. I’m not crate trained yet but don’t really need it if you want to skip that. I’m so grateful that the wonderful people at The Cantu Foundation have taken me in and are helping me find my family. I love all dogs and humans, including kids but I haven’t met a cat. I’m pretty calm and laid back and I can get excited and play if the people around me are high energy, but overall am a moderate energy level and perfectly happy with my daily walks for exercise. I love naps during the day between my strolls around the neighborhood. Strenuous hikes and large hills aren’t really my jam. I’d do well in a lot of different types of homes, including apartments. I don’t need much space and am a low key guy. I am friendly and would love for my new family to work from home but I’m also okay to be left alone during normal working hours if needed. I only whine for a little bit when you leave the house and then settle down into my nap! I also really like chasing my tail. My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering and vetting care. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html I can’t wait to be best friends and be the best pup with you! |
