Would you be surprised if under all this fur, you found a face tattoo? Well, sorry to disappoint, but hey, I’m only 13-weeks-old!
You guessed it – My name’s “Iron Mike” err- I mean Tyson, and I’m the heavyweight champ, tipping the scales at 18 lbs.! I’m a Lab Mix who found my way to TCF after someone saw me wandering the streets of TJ. And well, mighty as I am, I looked too little to be on my own. Since I’m still a pupper, I haven’t quite mastered potty training yet, but my foster hooman says I’m doing great so far! I’m learning how to go outside on the apartment’s patio as we speak! Something I am confident in is walking on a leash. I am mindful of commands and don’t pull at all. I’m working on mycrate training, too! I love sleeping in my little safe space.
A little more about me - I love food and playtime with other doggos(proper introductions are a must though!) and hoomans big or small.Cats I’ve never met, but I’m open to being pals with all creeds and breeds! As far as personality goes, I’m generally very calm and not overly energetic. However, I do love a good play sesh or boxing match if you’re up for it! I do get a little bit of anxiety in newer environments, but once acquainted with a space, I becomecomfortable very quickly.
My perfect furever home would be in a family with mini hoomansand maybe another doggo similar to my size. I would also love asemi-active home that can give me adequate mental stimulation and exercise - with the appropriate amount of slumber for when I need to recharge, of course. I long for someone who can hangout with meso I don’t get bored (or have a doggo that can romp around with me when our hooman(s) are gone!). Ideally, I would love a yard, but would be grateful for an apartment, too. My adoption fee is $500 and that includes neutering and vetting care.
