Age: 5 years old
Gender: Male Size: 29 lbs Breed: French Bulldog Good in a home with: Dogs (with proper introduction) and children Our Ziggy can’t play guitar, but he sure is a star! Hi, my name’s Ziggy! Not Ziggy Stardust, just plain old Ziggy. Because I don’t need a flashy last name to show off my sparkle! I’m crate trained and doing great with my leash training, especially when I’m allowed to be the one to take the lead when we go out for walks. I’m also trained to use pee pads to go potty, and I wear diapers most of the time because I’m incontinent. That’s why my old owner surrendered me… can you believe that? I suffered a spinal injury that left me paralyzed, but I’m doing great. My foster family says I’m full of life despite my injury. And hey, I think I look pretty cute in my diapers! When the Cantu Foundation rescued me I had a severe skin infection due to neglect. I’ve been getting lots of love and care ever since then to help me thrive and enjoy my life again. Getting my first wheelchair has taught me how to be a happy and playful pup. I’m not completely dog friendly yet and I’ve never met a cat before, but I like kids! I love getting cuddles. I’m working on my confidence around other dogs and it’s going really well so far! My foster family says the three ways they’d describe me are “sweet,” “loving,” and “big personality.” I agree 100%! My favorite thing to do is hang out with my humans and watch things happen around me. My ideal home would be one where I’m the only dog. What can I say… I just want all the attention on me! I am a superstar after all. I can be around other pups, but it takes me a lot of time to acclimate and bond with them. Aside from that, I think I’d fit into almost any home. I’m such a charmer, I’m sure you’ll fall in love with me if we meet! So what do you say? Want to be my forever family? My adoption fee is $250, which covers my first year of vaccinations (which are all done!), my neuter surgery, and microchip. You can apply to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html. Go on, what are you waiting for? I’m ready to be your new best buddy! |
