If you're looking for a super-powered snuggle buddy with a heart of gold, then look no further! Hi, I'm Helen, a fabulous 2-year-old Terrier/Chi mix, weighing in at a perfect 23 pounds. I am fully vaccinated and spayed. My incredible journey began when I was found navigating the world as a stray alongside my partner, Bob, and our little superheroes, Dash and Jack Jack. We were quite the team, and I learned a lot about caring for my family before joining The Cantu Foundation.
• Cuddle Connoisseur – I am a big fan of physical affection, actively seeking out pats and leaning into your conversations for extra attention.
• A Paw-sitively Great Listener – It’s true, I absolutely adore hearing your voice and will listen intently when you talk to me, making every chat a two-way street.
• Pack Pleaser – While I enjoy my personal space with new canine acquaintances, I become quite the playful partner once I’ve learned to trust another dog.
• Home Sweet Helen – I'm already a pro at living indoors, completely comfortable in my crate, and a perfect lady when it comes to potty breaks.
• Leash Luv'r – Exploring the neighborhood is one of my favorite activities, and I walk beautifully on a leash, only occasionally needing a gentle reminder to keep my pace.
My absolute favorite thing in the world is getting pets – I just live for them! I'm known for being incredibly sweet and gentle, always eager to connect with my human companions. When it comes to my canine friends, I take a "mind my own business" approach with new introductions, but once I trust a dog, my playful side really shines through. You'll find that I'm fully potty trained and completely comfortable in my crate, making transitions into a new home smooth as silk. On walks, I'm a generally good girl on the leash, though sometimes I get a little excited and might pull a tiny bit, but I'm always eager to learn and improve. I really do deserve the most loving family to shower with all my affection.
