Book a party with a purpose — 100% of your event donation supports rescue dogs in our care. Puppy parties are available in San Diego and surrounding areas.

Birthday Parties

Skip the usual party routine and give guests of all ages an interactive experience they’ll never forget! We’ll bring a cuddly crew of rescue puppies to your party for snuggles, playtime, and priceless photo ops.

What’s included: 1 hour of paw-some fun, puppy transport to your party location, pee pads, gated puppy area, puppy toys, shaded canopy for puppies if needed.

Add an extra dose of joy to your big day with our adorable rescue pups. Whether it’s a sweet puppy lounge during the cocktail hour, reception romp time, or a fun photo session with your bridal party, these furry friends bring smiles all around.

What’s included: 1.5-2 hours of true puppy love, puppy transport to your event location, pee pads, gated puppy area, puppy toys, shaded canopy for puppies if needed.

Puppy Party FAQ

  • A Puppy Party is a fun, interactive event where we bring adoptable puppies to your gathering for cuddles, playtime, and socialization. It’s a great way to support rescue efforts while adding a joyful, heartwarming experience to your event.

  • The number of puppies may vary based on availability and age, as all puppies are adoptable and in foster care. However, we always aim to bring an appropriate number of puppies based on your expected guest count.

  • Each event comes with one or two trained Cantu Foundation volunteers who will handle setup, supervision, and cleanup. Our volunteers will also answer any questions about the puppies or the adoption process.

  • We bring everything the puppies need, including:

    • Water bowls

    • Pee pads

    • Cleaning supplies

    • Food (if needed)

    • Toys and blankets

    • Play pen

    • Canopy (if needed)

  • We love when this happens! All puppies are adoptable. Here’s what to do:

    1. Visit our website to submit an adoption application.

    2. Once received, we’ll coordinate a meeting between the applicant and the puppy’s foster.

    3. The adoption process typically takes 2–3 days.

    Please note: Adoptions are not completed on-site at the event.

  • You will receive a text with our ETA. We typically arrive 15 minutes before the party to set up the puppy area. Please ensure there’s a shaded, safe, and secure space where the puppies can comfortably interact with your guests.

  • We cannot guarantee specific puppies due to availability, but you’re welcome to share preferences. We will do our best to bring puppies that fit your guest group and setting.

  • Puppy playtime is generally great for all ages, but we recommend children be supervised closely, especially under age 5, to ensure a safe and calm environment for the puppies.

  • Every Puppy Party helps raise awareness for adoptable dogs, builds community support, and gives our rescue pups meaningful socialization. Some parties even lead to forever homes!

Please note: As a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue, the number of puppies in our care fluctuates as we take in new dogs and process adoptions. We will do our best to accommodate your event but appreciate your understanding that the exact number of puppies available for your event may change.
