Hi! My name is Jawlene! I was born on January 1, 2024, and I’m a little Schnug (Schnauzer & Pug) with a big personality! I may only be 14lbs, but I promise I’m a powerhouse of love and fun! I was abandoned in a Home Depot parking lot but, luckily, some locals called the wonderful people at The Cantu Foundation, and they came a rescued me. The Cantu Foundation helped me find my foster parent and now I’m ready to find my forever home!

Cuddle Bug: I’m extremely affectionate and cuddly – I’ll be your shadow, snuggle buddy and your couch supervisor!

Smart Cookie: I’m excellent on the leash. I’m crate trained and I’m fully potty trained.

Kid Friendly: I love kids! I’m very sweet and gentle with kids. I’m always down for play time or nap time.

Dog Socialite: I’m a social butterfly! I enjoy outings, events and riding in the car.

A little more about me:

My favorite thing to do is play! I enjoy playing with other dogs or humans, or by myself with my toys. My foster parent would describe me as the life of the party, sweet and playful!

What’s my dream home?

My ideal forever home would be an active one. I would love a home with another dog, but it isn’t a necessity. Overall, I love people. I love to cuddle and have fun! I do well in my crate, but you can trust me to not destroy anything if I’m out of my crate. I think I would also make a good guard dog – I’ll let you know if I hear a strange noise, or someone walks by our house. I just want to be in a home that will show me lots of love!
