Hi! My name is Kane!

I was born on September 5, 2025. I’m a handsome Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. I was found in a collapsing hole on a cliffside with my mom and siblings. Thanks to the quick work of the fire department, I was rescued — the sole survivor of my little family. With the help of The Cantu Foundation, I’m ready to start my next chapter!

Playful and wonderfully goofy: I have a ton of puppy energy! I love a good game of tug-of-war and I think digging is the best hobby ever.

Smart Cookie: I’m almost fully potty trained, I don’t need a crate and I’m learning the ropes of leash walking.

Despite my rough start, my heart is wide open! I’m extremely affectionate, social and I adore being around people. I’m still learning to love car rides and new outings, but you’ll see that my curiosity and resilience shine through every day.

What’s my dream home?

I would thrive in just about any home - whether with kids, another dog to play with or an active family that enjoys adventures. I’m hoping for a family who will give me love, patience and lots of playtime!
