Badda BING, badda boom-here I am. My name’s Bing, and I’m a young pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for other dogs. I was rescued in Rosarito, Mexico with my mom and my litter from a tough neighborhood. Sadly, I was the only puppy who made it, but I didn’t face the world alone for long. Thanks to kind humans from The Cantu Foundation and a safe foster home, I’m growing up learning what love, play, and security feel like.
I’m about four months old, a lab/shep mix and will be around 40lbs, but right now I’m just still figuring out the world, and taking notes as I go. I can be a shy guy at first, but I’m observant, curious, and quietly learning that life can be pretty good when you’re safe, fed, and surrounded by the right crew.
The Bing highlights
-I love dogs: Other dogs are my comfort zone. I truly adore them, and my foster sister is my whole world-I follow her everywhere and take all my confidence cues from her. I will need at least one dog friend in my forever home to help me feel safe and happy.
-Cuddly once I trust: When I feel secure, I am extremely cuddly and very affectionate. I love being close, leaning in, and soaking up gentle attention from my people.
-Playful but not wild: I’m very playful, especially with dogs, but my energy level is on the mild side. I enjoy playtime, then I’m happy to relax and hang out.
-Smart little learner: I’m crate trained and almost fully potty trained. I haven’t had much leash experience yet, but I’m a fast learner and expected to do great once I’m fully vaccinated and able to practice more.
Car ride companion: I do well in the car and am happy to ride along for future adventures!
Things I’m still working on
-Building confidence with humans: I’m friendly, but I’m still a little shy and cautious as I learn to trust new people. I do best with patient, gentle humans who let me move at my own pace.
-Learning to be alone: I am fine when my hoomans leave as long as I have a dog sibling.
-Puppy-in-progress moments: Since I’m still so young, some things like leash skills, kids, and busy public outings are still a mystery to me but I can’t wait to have pawents and a dog sibling to show me the ropes and gain confidence.
My dream home
A home with at least one friendly, confident dog and yard where I can play and explore. I also
need patient adopters who understand that I am a pup and am still learning. If you have kids, I would prefer them to be older or at least calmer. I am looking for a family that loves me for who I am and see my full potential.
I may be small, but I’ve already been through a lot and I’m ready to grow into a secure, loving companion with the right support. My adoption fee is $550 and this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like your soulmate for you and your pup? You can fill out an application to adopt me at https://www.thecantufoundation.org if you’re looking for a sweet, dog-loving pup who bonds deeply and blossoms with patience, I might be your perfect match.
