Hi there, I'm Darla, and I have a bit of a special story to tell! At two years old and a delightful 42 pounds, my Border Collie and Lab mix heritage means Im smart, sweet, and always ready for an adventure or a nap right by your side. You see, I was once a local stray, and after one of the kind sanctuary volunteers helped me out, I made a very clear decision: I wanted to be a Cantu pup! So, I patiently waited right outside the sanctuary, letting everyone know I was ready for my forever family.

As a true cuddlebug, I believe the best place in the world is right beside you, and Im completely comfortable in my crate when you need me to be. Im fully potty trained and a joy on the leash, always happy to go for a loose-leash stroll around the neighborhood. While I adore meeting new canine friends and truly shine in a home with another dog to play with, I am still learning that car rides can be exciting journeys and that loud noises are just part of the big, wide world. I flourish with patient encouragement and lots of positive reinforcement as I continue to build my confidence, especially with new experiences. Im a playful goofball at heart, and I promise to bring endless love and laughter to a family ready to embrace my gentle spirit and funny quirks.
