Hi hi hiiii! I’m Cleo, your future tiny tornado, cuddle bug, and professional shadow all rolled into one adorable Terrier/Pug package. I’m about 1 year old, around 18 pounds full grown, and I’ve got enough personality packed into my little body to keep life very entertaining.
I’m a super spirited, playful girl who believes every day should include zoomies, toys, cuddles, and at least three opportunities to show off how fast I can run. Seriously… I’m basically a tiny athlete with rocket boosters attached to my paws. I LOVE playing with other dogs and will happily try to make friends with every pup I meet. I can be a tiny bit shy when first meeting new people, but give me a minute and I’ll quickly decide you’re my new best friend.
Some of my favorite things include:
Snuggling as close to my humans as physically possible
Carrying toys around proudly like little trophies
Going on walks (I’m great on leash!)
Learning new things- I’m a fast learner and already excellent at “down settle”
Copying my foster dog siblings because if they’re doing it, clearly I should too
Kids, families, and being included in absolutely everything
I’m very affectionate, very cuddly, and very much a “where are you going and can I come too?” kind of girl. My favorite thing in the whole world is simply being with my person. Because of that, I’m still working on my separation anxiety and learning that being alone isn’t so scary. I would absolutely LOVE a playful canine sibling to help keep me company and show me the ropes.
A few things I’m still learning:
Potty training- I’m trying my best and improving every day!
Crate training- not quite there yet
Keeping all four paws on the ground when I get excited (I just love people SO much)
My ideal home would be active, loving, and ready for puppy energy. A yard would be amazing if you have it (but not absolutely necessary), and I’d love a family that enjoys walks, playtime, training, and adventures. I thrive with structure, supervision, and lots of engagement while I continue growing into the best version of myself. Big families, kids, and playful dogs all sound pretty dreamy to me.
If you’re looking for a funny, athletic, affectionate little sidekick who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and then curl up directly on top of you afterward, you can fill out an application to adopt me at https://www.thecantufoundation.org and my adoption fee is $450. I think we might be perfect for each other.
