Hello there, I'm Fritz! My journey started south of the border, where I was a bit down on my luck and had to learn how to find my own meals. But don't you worry, those days of a growling tummy are far behind me! Now, as an amazing adult Lab mix (approximately 5 years old), I'm a strapping 60 pounds of pure joy and ready to find my forever family. I've left my past behind and am eagerly wagging my tail towards a future filled with love, tennis balls, and plenty of head massages.

Here's a little peek into what makes me, me:
Tennis Ball Tycoon – My idea of a perfect afternoon involves chasing and retrieving my favorite tennis ball, a game I'm always ready to start.
People Person Pro – From the moment I meet you, I’ll be convinced we’re already the best of friends, always ready with a wagging tail and an invitation for a pet.

Smarty Paws – I'm a clever cookie who quickly picks up on words like 'no' and 'let's go,' making me a delightful conversationalist when I'm not busy being a playful goofball.
Head Rub Hooligan – If you're looking for a devoted companion who melts into your touch, just offer a head massage and I'll be your loyal shadow forever.

My sunny disposition means I'm a true extrovert, believing every human is just a friend I haven't properly greeted yet. I am fully potty trained and a pro at walking politely on a loose leash, so our neighborhood strolls will be a breeze. While I'm a social butterfly, I do benefit from slow introductions to new environments and friends, just so I can properly assess the snack situation and ensure everyone's ready for my playful energy. Speaking of comfort, my crate is my cozy den, a place I'm completely comfortable in when it's time to relax. I thrive on positive reinforcement and my smarty-paws brain is always eager to learn new things, especially if head scratches are involved!

My adoption fee is $400, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the dog for you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html
