Picture this: a 1 year-old Cattle Dog Mix with a heart full of curiosity and paws ready for play. That’s me, Hazelnut, at your service! I was part of an incoming litter who got to know the comforts of a loving home. Though unforeseen circumstances, I’m now searching for my next forever family, I’m optimistic that my next chapter will be full of fun and snuggles with my forever people. I’m a lean, 45-pound bundle of joy, ready to bring endless entertainment and companionship to your home.

Here are just a few of my finest qualities:

Wall Walker Wonders – I've got a unique talent for balancing and strolling along cement walls, like a four-legged tightrope artist just showing off a little.

Independent Fetcher – Why wait for a human? This smart cookie can entertain myself with a rousing game of fetch, no partner required.

Adventure Seeker – My curious spirit means I'm always ready to explore new sights and sounds, eager to discover the world around me with you.

Wiggle Worm Fun – Get ready for some serious tail wags and happy dances; I'm a true goofball who loves to play and spread joy wherever I go.

I’m a sweet, playful boy who thrives on positive attention. When it comes to meeting new friends, whether they’re two-legged or four, I appreciate a gentle pace and slow introductions to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Good news on the house manners front: I'm completely comfortable in my crate, seeing it as my cozy personal den, and I’ve mastered the art of being fully potty trained, so those "oops" moments are a thing of the past. While I do benefit from some continued practice on the leash to perfect my strolling etiquette, I'm a quick learner and eager to please. I'm a naturally enthusiastic greeter, especially when my favorite people come home, and sometimes my excitement bubbles over into a bit of a bouncy "hello." I'm a smart cookie who's eager to learn new ways to show my joy, perhaps with a nice sit instead of a spring-loaded hug, with a little guidance and positive reinforcement.

My adoption fee is $450, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the dog for you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html
