Lavender - The Little Love
Hi - I'm Lavender! I'm a 2.5 month baby girl with a heart as soft as my name sounds. I was born on September 2, 2025, and my story started in a pretty unexpected place—my mama gave birth right in front of a restaurant. A kind stranger took us in for two whole weeks until Cantu stepped in, and now I’m safe, loved, and learning what it means to be a puppy in a big, bright world.
I’m a mix of cattle dog, lab, and shepherd (we think!), and when I’m all grown up, I’ll likely be around 40 pounds. Right now, I’m still figuring out potty training, getting used to walking on a leash, and I’m not crate trained yet—but I’m trying my best! I’m a sensitive soul, so loud noises and sudden things can startle me, and I’m still learning how to feel confident and brave.
I’m extremely affectionate, very cuddly, very playful, and I absolutely adore toys.. if it squeaks or chews, count me in! I love playing with my giant foster sister, Melon! I also enjoy sitting by the front window and watching the kids walk to school every morning. It’s like my own little daily show!
I get along well with cats for now, but since I’m still a puppy, my foster says I may need someone with experience if I’m going to live with them long-term. As for people, I’m very sweet and social once I feel safe—but I don’t like being alone just yet. I’m working hard on building confidence, and I’ll need a family who can be patient, gentle, and encouraging while I grow into my paws.
My ideal home is with someone who understands timid pups and has the patience to help me shine. If you’re looking for a baby girl who will love you deeply, cuddle endlessly, and melt your heart with her sweetness, we might be perfect for each other!
