Hi there, I’m Margo! 💕

I’m a sweet, 4-5 year old gentle terrier mix. I weigh around 22 pounds, the perfect size for snuggling on the couch or trotting alongside you on a sunny walk. My story started in Mexico, where kind people found me living on the streets. Life was rough—I’d been hit by cars twice and raised several litters of puppies—but those days are behind me. Now I’m safe, loved, and ready for my forever family!

Here’s what makes me special:

🌸 Well-mannered: I’m fully potty trained and don’t need a crate—I’m a respectful house guest.

🐶 Dog & cat friendly: I get along well with other dogs most of the time and am friendly with cats, too.

💞 Loving & social: I’m extremely cuddly, very affectionate, and love being near my people (and furry friends!).

🦴 Gentle energy: I’m calm and mild-mannered, with just the right touch of playfulness.

🐾 Leash learner: I am leash trained and love to go on walks, even though my walks right now are very short.

A little more about me:

I handle alone time well and don’t show signs of separation anxiety, although I like to wait by the door until you return. I love chewing on soft stuffed animals and chew sticks and just being close to the people and dogs I care about.

My dream home:

I’d love a quiet, loving home—preferably with a yard to explore and maybe another friendly dog, though that’s not a must. I’d do best in a calm environment without small children until I’ve fully healed and gained more confidence.

My adoption fee is $250, which covers my vaccinations, spay, and microchip.
